Apprenticeship summary
As an Apprentice Technician, you will work alongside an experienced technician, maintaining and repairing customer’s vehicles to very high industry standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a smart, ambitious and self-motivated individual to join in a friendly environment.

Advanced
Duties will include:
- Carrying out foundation tasks common to all service and repair procedures
- Contributing to a safe working environment
- Accessing information such as wiring diagrams and technical data
- Using complex diagnostic, mechanical and electrical measuring equipment
- Removing, repairing/replacing components to manufacturer’s specification
- Applying advanced diagnostic principles and logical problem-solving techniques
- Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (light vehicle) apprenticeship standard
- A certificate that meets the EU’s 2014 F-gas regulation
- Level 2 Functional skills in English & maths (if required)
Please note: Off-the-job training is on a residential basis. A training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date.
Travel and accommodation costs are covered by the employer.
- Once qualified, there will be the opportunity for further advanced training and there may be the opportunity for progression within the company
