This is an exciting time to join our Transport, Highways and Parking service area as an Apprentice Project Liaison Officer. We are looking for somebody who is passionate about good communication and supporting the Project Liaison Officer with creating briefing notes, managing communications for our major projects including drafting press releases

- Support the Project Liaison Officer with creating briefing notes, emails and other sources of communications to keep colleagues up to date with changes and key messaging across the department
- Support with managing communications for major projects, including drafting press releases, communication plans and supporting with social media
- Maintain accurate electronic records on relevant systems efficiently
- Support with providing information and guidance to colleagues and contractors wishing to undertake activities on the highways in our city
- Manage incoming brand activation enquiries, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills
- Online classroom attendance once a week
- The possiblity of a permanent position subject to budget
