Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit excellent Food Technician interested in securing a role. Please see below for further details:

Food Technician

  • Location - Sefton, L23
  • Type of work - Full time
  • Start date - As soon as possible
  • Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with lessons: Helping sort materials, setting up equipment, and supporting students during lessons.
  • Behaviour management: Foster a positive learning environment with good behaviour management.
  • Practical work: would involve assisting the food technology teacher with cleaning/preparing for the lesson, including assisting during practical's.
  • Monitoring well-being: Keeping an eye on students' overall well-being and reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
  • Safeguarding: Ensuring the safeguarding procedure is followed when required

Requirements:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (Desirable)
  • Previous experience working with young people.

To be eligible:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional references/cover 24 months work with references
