Food Technician
- Location - Sefton, L23
- Type of work - Full time
- Start date - As soon as possible
- Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with lessons: Helping sort materials, setting up equipment, and supporting students during lessons.
- Behaviour management: Foster a positive learning environment with good behaviour management.
- Practical work: would involve assisting the food technology teacher with cleaning/preparing for the lesson, including assisting during practical's.
- Monitoring well-being: Keeping an eye on students' overall well-being and reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
- Safeguarding: Ensuring the safeguarding procedure is followed when required
Requirements:
- Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (Desirable)
- Previous experience working with young people.
To be eligible:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
- Provide two professional references/cover 24 months work with references
