Working hours: Full-time – Mon-Fri

About the Role
Connex Education is working with a primary school based in Widnes who are seeking a passionate, strong experienced Y5 Teacher to join their team. We are looking for strong classroom management and someone who is dedicated, the class will have 13 pupils and you will have support from a full-time TA and KS2 lead.
The main focus of this role is to bring energy and enthusiasm into the classroom. The school is looking for someone who can make lessons engaging, inspiring and accessible for all pupils.
Due to the nature of this role applications from experienced teachers will only be considered, . The contract is paid to scale from day 1 and happy to pay upto UPS3, you will initally be paid via Connex Education before being transfered onto direct contract.

Assignment Details
This role will begin September 2026 and continue until end of the academic year (July 2027). Option to become perm.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through Connex.
