Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Sub Contract Fire Alarm Engineer for ongoing works across NHS healthcare centres in Liverpool. This role will involve a mix of reactive call outs, fault finding and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on fire alarm systems within occupied healthcare environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable engineer looking for long-term contract work with consistent weekly workload. The Role: Working across multiple NHS sites, carrying out servicing, maintenance and reactive repairs to ensure fire alarm systems remain fully operational and compliant. Duties Include: * PPM servicing of fire alarm systems * Reactive breakdown attendance * Fault finding and repairs * Testing and inspection works * Detector / device replacements * Panel resets, diagnostics and minor remedials * Completing service sheets and compliance paperwork * Working safely in live healthcare environments Systems May Include: * Conventional fire alarm systems * Addressable fire alarm systems * Emergency lighting experience beneficial * Panels such as Gent, Advanced, Morley, Kentec, C-Tec and similar Requirements: * Proven fire alarm service / maintenance experience * Strong fault-finding skills * FIA qualifications advantageous * ECS / CSCS preferred * Own van, tools and testing equipment * Able to work independently and manage workload * Professional manner when working on NHS sites * Enhanced DBS beneficial or willing to obtain Package: * Ongoing subcontract contract * Weekly pay * Competitive day rate / hourly rate * Immediate start available * Regular Liverpool-based work across NHS sites If you are an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer looking for ongoing contract work in Liverpool, please apply today with your up-to-date CV
