Community Support Worker with Children

Hours:

  • 16 to 35 hours per week, across core shifts
  • Opportunity to work additional hours

The Role:

  • Providing personal care, mobility assistance, nutrition and skin care assistance, medication support on a person- centred basis within children homes and community
  • Previous experience is helpful but not essential; an organised, caring and compassionate approach is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Care for and support people in their own homes enabling them to continue to live at home safely and continue to maximise their independence in the community as well
  • Develop professional relationships through mutual trust and communicating effectively
  • Be a committed frontline carers team player
  • Maintain required standards at all times
  • Ensure management are given timely feedback
