The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver on behalf of a well‑known steel distributor based in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with a reputable company. Job Details Monday- Friday
07:00 start times
£15.60 per hour (PAYE)
Flatbed work
No touching the load, just simply use the straps to secure the load Key Responsibilities Transporting steel products safely and efficiently
Securing loads using ratchet straps
Ensuring all loads are compliant with safety regulations
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Maintaining high standards of professionalism on the road Requirements Valid Class 1 (Cat CE) licence
Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 12 months Class 1 due to insurance purposes
Knowledge of ratchet straps and load securing
