Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and reliableHealthcare Assistant / Support Workerto join our team. The role involves providing high-quality care and support to residents/service users in a safe, respectful, and person-centred manner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents withpersonal caresuch as washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
- Supporting withmobilityand safe moving & handling
- Helping residents withmeals, hydration, and nutrition
- Providingcompanionship and emotional support
- Assisting withdaily activitiesand promoting independence
- Observing and reporting anychanges in health or behaviour
- Maintaining accuratecare records and documentation
- Following allsafeguarding, infection control, and health & safetyprocedures
- Working closely with nurses, senior carers, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Previous experience incare/support workis preferred
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, patient, and professional attitude
- Mandatory training and relevant compliance documents preferred
