Location: Knowsley (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home)
Pay Rate: Up to £31.12 per hour
Contract Type: Full-time Locum Knowsley Council is seeking an experienced and committed Qualified Social Worker to join its Children’s Services team on a full-time locum basis. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The role involves managing a varied caseload, undertaking assessments, developing care plans, and working collaboratively with families and partner agencies to ensure positive, sustainable outcomes. Key Responsibilities * Undertake child and family assessments in line with statutory guidance * Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and effective interventions * Develop and implement care and support plans * Attend and contribute to case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings where required * Work in partnership with multi-agency professionals to safeguard children * Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records About Knowsley Council
