Job Description

People Dynamix Education are currently recruiting an experienced School Attendance Officer to support a secondary school in the Wirral area.

The successful candidate will play a vital role monitoring student attendance, working closely with staff, parents and external agencies to improve attendance and support pupil wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and track student attendance and punctuality

• Produce attendance reports for senior leadership

• Contact parents regarding absences

• Support strategies to improve overall school attendance

• Work closely with safeguarding and pastoral teams

Requirements

• Previous school attendance or administration experience

• MUST have experience using SIMS

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
