Job Description
People Dynamix Education are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support a specialist secondary school in the Wirral area.
This role involves working with pupils who have complex learning difficulties, including severe or profound needs, autism (ASD), sensory impairments, and challenging behaviours.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support students in both their educational development and personal wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with learning and classroom activities
- Assist with personal care needs where required
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Support students with additional needs and behaviours
- Work closely with teachers and support staff
- Contribute to the overall development of the school environment
Requirements
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND or complex needs
- Patient, resilient, and caring approach
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly and proactively
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
