QC Technician
- Annual Salary: Up to £25,300
- Location: Merseyside
- Hours: Monday to Thursday, 1pm-10pm
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QC Technician to join a well-established manufacturing company on the Wirral. This role offers a competitive salary, a great benefits package, and a four-day working week.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct incoming goods quality inspection and finished product quality control.
- Perform chemical analysis of raw materials and product concentrates.
- Ensure all quality-related documentation, such as Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), is completed accurately and to deadlines.
- Report quality control issues to the Production and Quality Assurance teams.
- Manage the segregation of non-conforming items and recommend and ensure corrective action is taken where appropriate.
- Competently handle calibration, verification, and monitoring of measuring devices within a laboratory setting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience within a QC laboratory is essential.
- Knowledge of testing packaging, componentry, raw materials, and blend analysis prior to use in production, as well as regular in-line sampling of finished products.
- Familiarity with producing certificates of analysis and certificates of conformance.
- Meticulous approach to work and highly organised.
