Senior Care Assistant Nights. Birkdale Tower Care Home £15.31 per hour 44 hours per week, 4 shifts per week 8pm-8am Please note this role is not eligible for sponsorship Birkdale Tower Care Home, located in the heart of Birkdale, Southport, is a beautifully restored landmark offering luxurious surroundings and exceptional, person-centred care. We are currently recruiting a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Practitioner Nights to join our dedicated team and help deliver outstanding care during night shifts. As a Senior Care Assistant on Nights, your responsibilities will include: Supporting residents with personal care, hygiene, and comfort during the night Providing emotional reassurance and companionship as needed Monitoring residents’ wellbeing and responding to any changes or concerns Maintaining accurate records and ensuring handovers are clear and thorough Leading and supporting night staff, including supervision and guidance Assisting with staff appraisals, training, and liaising with healthcare professionals Ensuring the home remains calm, safe, and well-managed overnight What are we looking for? Supervisory or leadership experience in a residential or nursing home setting A warm, professional approach with a positive attitude Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it) Confidence in using care systems and maintaining accurate records Ability to remain calm and lead effectively under pressure Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends on a rota basis Sandstone employees enjoy a range of benefits: Free uniform.
