This position is a Fixed Term Contract for 18 months.
What Youll Do:
- Undertake and complete the Apprenticeship programme, including technical and work based training and experience, attending collage as required to obtain the practical skills and any associated qualifications in the trade to NVQ Level 3.
- Work towards achieving knowledge and experience of new renewable technologies.
- Work effectively as part of a team to provide an excellent service to internal and external customers while working alongside a fully qualified and experienced operative.
- Assist in carrying our technical visits, surveys and inspections in connection with reactive and planned works.
- Maintain tools and equipment to the required levels in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Participate in business and community events on behalf of SPS and our partners.
- Comply with all relevant risk assessments and method statements.
- Attend collage as required to obtain the practical skills and any associated qualifications in the trade to NVQ Level 3.
- Positively promote and demonstrate the values of the business.
- Adhere to section 7 of the health and safety at work act and to take reasonable care of own safety and the health and safety of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions.
