Teaching Assistant Primary & Secondary Schools
Location Liverpool
Rate of Pay: £12.71 £14.00 per hour
Contract:Temporary

About the Role
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant seeking greater flexibility or looking to broaden your experience across a range of school settings? We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join a growing supply bank supporting a variety of schools (Primary & Secondary Schools).
This is an excellent opportunity to work within different educational environments, develop your professional skills, and gain valuable experience supporting pupils with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting classroom teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils
  • Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe, structured learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom preparation, resources, and general administrative tasks
  • Supporting pupils academic, social, and emotional development

  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour and safeguarding

Experience and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should ideally have:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar classroom-based support role
  • A sound understanding of classroom practices and strategies for supporting pupils with varying abilities
  • Experience in supporting positive behaviour and contributing to an inclusive learning environment
  • A relevant childcare, education, or support qualification (desirable but not essential)
