Job Description
The Armed Forces Recruiting Service (AFRS) will see MOD, Serco and their consortium of partners providing a Tri-Service recruiting solution, which for the RN will commence on 1 Apr 27. AFRS will provide end to end support from candidate attraction to assessment to preparing to join Phase 1 training. The solution will utilise Service Personnel in high value candidate facing roles in the Command and Support Unit and in recruitment, selection, Under-Represented Groups, outreach and the national career centre.

The HQ AFR will deliver integrated tri-service recruitment for the Armed Forces to build and maintain force levels able to meet Defence outputs. |

|
Responsibilities |
|||||
|
1. Act as Lead UOTC/UAS/URNU, Rejoiners and Non-Traditional Entry CA. Perform Line Manager responsibilities |

|
2. Act as the main point of contact for all candidates within the Contact Phase from initial enquiry through to successful completion of application. |
|||||
|
3. Conduct 1 to 1 appointments virtually or in person to support and nurture candidates on their recruitment pathway. Facilitate supervised DAA |
|||||
|
4. Support the Career Centre manager in directly advising candidates on key referrals, including unsuccessful candidates at various steps. |
|||||
|
5. Ensure process efficiency; continually monitoring the ongoing quality and governance functions to support the development and improvement of processes. |
|||||
|
6. Ensure accurate and relevant records are created and maintained on AFRS system for all In-Service Transfers and Re-joiners. |

|
7. Assist in administrative support activities within the Recruiting Sourcing Re-Joiners team as directed by AFR policy. |
|||||
|
8. Support Outreach Team events, including provision of careers advice sharing personal experience of life in the AF to engage and inform candidates. |
