Location:Sefton
Hours:12.5 hours - 15:30 - 18:00 Tuesday & Friday - 09:00 - 17:00 Saturdays

Fixed Term 6 months with possibility of perm

Swan Family is offering an exciting opportunity for aFamily Intervention Workerto join our warm and supportive team in Sefton. Youll be working within ourChildren and Family Contact Centreand out in the community, helping to create safe and positive environments where families can connect, grow, and thrive.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Supporting children and young people bytransporting and escortingthem safely to and from family contact sessions
  • Observing and supervisingcontact sessions between children and their families
  • Safeguarding childrenby risk-managing and intervening appropriately when needed
  • Writing clear, factualobservation reportswithin agreed timescales
  • Attendingplanning meetings and reviewsto support childrens progress
  • Taking part intraining and supervisionto continue developing your skills

About You

Were looking for someone who is:

  • Caring, patient, and approachable, with a calm nature
  • Skilled inreport writingand attention to detail
  • Confident inmanaging challenging situationsand resolving conflict
  • Knowledgeable aboutsafeguardingand passionate about keeping children safe What Youll Need

Essential:

  • A minimumLevel 3 NVQ(or equivalent) in Children and Young People
  • Acurrent DBSfor working with adults and children (we can help with this if needed)

Desirable:

  • Adriving licence and access to a car(not essential)
