Drama Teacher – Southport, Merseyside (Independent School) – January 2026

Job Description

A respected independent day and boarding school in Southport is seeking a creative and committed Teacher of Drama to join its Performing Arts faculty from January 2026.

Drama is a vibrant part of school life, supporting confidence, communication and creativity across the pupil body.

The Role

You will teach Drama across KS3–KS5, combining practical performance work with theoretical study.

The role involves:

  • Delivering engaging Drama lessons

  • Supporting GCSE and A-Level Drama courses

  • Directing or assisting with productions and performances

  • Encouraging participation across ability levels

  • Working closely with Music and English colleagues
