Key Responsibilities

As a KS2 Teacher, your main duties will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum

  • Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of SEND, EAL, and higher-achieving pupils

  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment

  • Monitoring pupil progress, using assessment data to inform teaching and interventions

  • Collaborating with teaching assistants and staff to enhance learning outcomes

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Has teaching experience in Years 3–6

  • Can manage classroom behaviour confidently and positively

  • Has experience supporting SEND and EAL pupils

  • Is enthusiastic, creative, and adaptable

  • Demonstrates excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

  • Shows innovation in lesson planning and teaching strategies

Desirable attributes:

  • Experience leading a subject area or school initiative

  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms

  • Participation in extracurricular or enrichment programs
