Your role

  • Support customers with learning and physical disabilities to build independence and reach their potential
  • Work as a key worker to help individuals create and follow care and support plans
  • Provide personalised care, including sensitive personal care and safe medication management
  • Assistcustomers with daily routines such as getting up, washed and dressed
  • Support customers to access the community, including shops, cafés,friendsand appointments
  • Promote a positive culture by engaging with customers and reducing social isolation
  • Helpmaintaina clean and comfortable environment and follow safe practices, including risk assessments

Your skills

  • Experience delivering personal care is helpful but not essential
  • Kind,caringand compassionate nature
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing customer needs
  • Strong organisational skills
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
  • Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)
