Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer
Location: Widnes / Hybrid

A growing and busy law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer to join its expanding Residential Property team based in Widnes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated conveyancer to join a supportive and collaborative environment with flexibility around hybrid working arrangements.
The Role
You will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, handling transactions efficiently while delivering high standards of client care.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, and remortgages
- Reviewing contracts, titles, searches, and raising enquiries
- Reporting to clients on transaction matters and legal documentation
- Liaising with clients, lenders, estate agents, and third parties
- Preparing files for exchange and completion
- Ensuring compliance with SDLT, Land Registry, CQS, and firm procedures
- Maintaining accurate file management and case management records
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with 2+ years’ PQE, or an experienced Conveyancer with 5+ years’ experience
- Strong residential conveyancing experience
- Ability to manage a caseload independently
- Excellent communication and client-care skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment
