Credit Controller

Job Description

RG Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a successful and growing engineering business based in Knowsley to recruit an experienced Credit Controller. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive finance team within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of the credit control function.

  • Manage and maintain the sales ledger to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices
  • Proactively chase overdue payments via phone, email, and customer communication
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to resolve payment queries efficiently
  • Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
  • Allocate incoming payments accurately and maintain account records
  • Produce aged debtor reports and provide updates to management
  • Monitor customer credit limits and assist with credit checks where required
  • Work closely with internal departments to resolve invoicing and account queries
  • Support month-end processes and reporting requirements
