RG Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a successful and growing engineering business based in Knowsley to recruit an experienced Credit Controller. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive finance team within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of the credit control function.
- Manage and maintain the sales ledger to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices
- Proactively chase overdue payments via phone, email, and customer communication
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to resolve payment queries efficiently
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Allocate incoming payments accurately and maintain account records
- Produce aged debtor reports and provide updates to management
- Monitor customer credit limits and assist with credit checks where required
- Work closely with internal departments to resolve invoicing and account queries
- Support month-end processes and reporting requirements
