The Department of Materials, Design and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Liverpool invites applications for an internationally distinguished Professor in Manufacturing Engineering (Teaching & Research track).

We are seeking a candidate with the leadership, creativity and global standing to develop a world-leading research agenda that addresses the future of manufacturing across areas such as advanced manufacturing systems, digital and intelligent manufacturing, sustainable production, industrial automation, materials processing, robotics, or related emerging fields.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and rapidly growing department at the centre of a major institutional strategic priority in advanced manufacturing and industrial innovation. Supported by significant and sustained investment in cutting-edge infrastructure, research capability and interdisciplinary collaboration, you will have the opportunity to build internationally competitive research programmes, attract major external funding, develop strategic industrial partnerships, and lead high-impact translational activity at scale.
