Full Time - Permanent

Southport/Hybrid

£10.85 - £12.71 per hour

Full training with funded qualification tailored to current experience/qualification level

An exciting opportunity has become available for a graduate digital marketing apprentice to join the experienced and talented team at Dovehaven Care Homes. Dovehaven are a family owned business based in Merseyside with a portfolio of 23 homes established over 40 years. We are currently experiencing a period of growth and we would love a talented Marketing graduate to come and join us in our next big chapter!

Job Role Summary

The Digital Marketing Apprentice will support Dovehaven’s marketing team in delivering engaging digital content across social media, websites and campaigns. The role is designed to build practical in-house digital marketing capability while supporting occupancy, recruitment and brand awareness across the group.

This is a hands-on development role, combining learning with practical experience across content creation, social media and campaign delivery.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create and schedule social media content across multiple platforms
  • Visit homes and events to capture photo and video content
  • Support content creation for blogs, newsletters and campaigns
  • Assist with recruitment and employer brand marketing activity
  • Help maintain website content and support basic SEO activity
  • Support marketing campaigns, events and community engagement activity
  • Monitor and report on social media and campaign performance
  • Ensure all content reflects Dovehaven’s values and tone of voice
  • Work alongside the Marketing team to support wider communications activity

Education / Qualifications

Essential

  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above)
  • Interest in digital marketing, communications or social media

Desirable

  • A-Level, BTEC or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Media, Communications or Creative subjects
  • Relevant college coursework or personal projects relating to digital content

Experience & Skills

Essential

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident using social media platforms
  • Organised with good attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence and access to transport

Desirable

  • Strong photography and video editing skills
  • Experience creating content for social media
  • Familiarity with Canva, CapCut or similar tools
  • Understanding of current social media trends
