Accounts Semi Senior
Location: Liverpool
Salary: 30-35k per annum
The Role
We are supporting a well-established accountancy practice with the hire of an Accounts Semi Senior. This is a hands-on role supporting a varied portfolio of clients, with clear scope to build your technical skills and progress within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare statutory accounts for a portfolio of clients (typically sole traders, partnerships and limited companies)
- Produce management accounts and basic reporting where required
- Assist with bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Support with corporation tax computations and personal tax returns (depending on experience)
- Liaise with clients to request information and resolve queries in a professional, timely way
- Work closely with seniors and managers to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards
What We’re Looking For
- Experience preparing accounts within a UK accountancy practice environment
- AAT qualified or part-qualified (or studying towards AAT/ACCA/ACA)
- Comfortable working with multiple deadlines and a varied workload
- Strong attention to detail and a practical, solutions-focused approach
- Confident communicator with a client-service mindset
- Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or similar software is helpful (not essential)
