Adult Education & Engagement Support Worker

Liverpool (community-based) Part-time – 2 days per week (Weekdays, 9am–6pm) £13.45 per hour + holiday pay 6–9 month temporary contract

About the Organisation

Reed Further Education is working with a charity delivering community-based adult learning, support, and inclusion programmes. They support adults with a range of needs to build confidence, independence, and life skills through meaningful engagement in their community.

This is a rewarding community-based role supporting adults on a 1:1 basis to access their local community and develop independence.

You will:

  • Support individuals to attend appointments, activities, and social opportunities
  • Encourage participation in learning, life skills, and community activities
  • Build positive, empowering relationships that promote confidence and independence

No personal care required

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in support work, SEND, community outreach, or adult learning
  • Confident working independently and managing your own schedule
  • Person-centred, proactive, and engaging
  • Passionate about helping others build skills, confidence, and independence
  • A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required.

All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed.
