Job Description
Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements:
- We require experience in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role
- We require strong Linux knowledge and working knowledge of Windows
- We require hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
- We require experience deploying and operating applications in cloud environments
- We require working knowledge of Kubernetes and container-based workloads
- We require experience with Git-based workflows
- We require scripting skills in Shell/Bash and/or PowerShell
- We require familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and incident management practices
- We would prefer experience with GitOps tooling such as Argo CD
- We would prefer experience with Bamboo and Bitbucket
- We would prefer knowledge of Kafka, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL operations
- We would prefer experience operating OpenSearch or similar logging platforms
- We would prefer understanding of cloud security and access control including RBAC and secrets
Responsibilities:
- We design, build, maintain, and operate cloud-based infrastructure across production and non-production environments
- We administer and support Linux and Windows systems
- We contribute to infrastructure design with a focus on availability, scalability, and security
- We design, implement, and maintain CI pipelines for on-premise and cloud-hosted applications
- We support and improve CD and GitOps workflows such as Argo CD
- We maintain and optimise build infrastructure and build agents
- We deploy, operate, and support Kubernetes workloads, services, ingress, and configuration
- We troubleshoot Kubernetes and container-related issues in production environments
- We implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions
- We support operational aspects of platforms such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, and OpenSearch
