IT Technician

Job Description

Salary: £32,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

  • IT support experience in the education sector (preferably in a school, college, or multi-academy trust setting)
  • Proactive approach to providing IT support
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with systems and technologies in the education sector

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first line and second line IT support to primary schools across Merseyside
  • Resolve day-to-day technical issues for schools
  • Maintain secure and reliable IT systems
  • Ensure technology consistently supports teaching, learning, and school operations
  • Conduct helpdesk support, on-site and remote troubleshooting
  • Perform system maintenance and device builds/installation
  • Monitor backups, security systems, and filtering systems
