Now Education are recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Maths Teacher to work within a specialist SEMH school in South Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs to achieve both academically and personally. The successful candidate will join a supportive and nurturing school environment where relationships, consistency and positive outcomes are at the heart of everything they do. The Role As a Maths Teacher, you will: * Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to pupils with SEMH needs * Support students who may display challenging behaviour or have experienced barriers to mainstream education * Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and progress * Create a safe, inclusive and structured learning environment * Work collaboratively with pastoral teams, support staff and senior leaders * Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning and emotional needs The Ideal Candidate * Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent * Has experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 * Experience within SEMH, SEND, PRU or alternative provision settings is highly desirable * Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills * Patient, resilient and passionate about making a difference * Able to inspire and motivate pupils who may be disengaged from education What Now Education Offers * Competitive daily rates * Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant * Opportunities for long-term and permanent positions * Access to CPD and training opportunities * Rewarding work within supportive specialist settings If you are a passionate Maths Teacher looking to make a real impact in a specialist SEMH environment, we would love to hear from you.
