Business Administrator

Are you an organised, proactive administrator with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service? We are looking for a motivated and flexible team player to join our operations team in a fast-paced industrial environment.

In this role, you will work closely with site management, operational personnel, and central customer services to support the smooth running of site administration and SAP-based waste receipt processes. You'll play a key role in ensuring customer requirements are met efficiently while maintaining high operational and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with operations, compliance, transport, sales, and customer services teams to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Carry out a variety of general administrative duties to support site operations.
  • Communicate with existing clients and third parties to fulfil customer requirements efficiently.
  • Manage and maintain site SAP administration processes.
  • Support operational, production, and engineering administration, including ordering materials and maintaining SAP records.
  • Act as the key link between customer services, transport, and site operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Complete month-end procedures accurately and within deadlines.
  • Assist with maintaining site management systems, including document control and data preparation.
  • Log Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and assist with investigations, resolutions, filing, and communication with relevant teams.
  • Support the preparation of SHEQ data for quarterly and annual reviews.
  • Ensure customer and Environment Agency reporting requirements are met, including tracking waste movements and preparing accurate submissions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organisational and telephone skills.
  • Professional and confident manner when representing the company.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience using SAP systems.
  • Prior administrative experience within an operational or industrial environment.
