Graduate Teaching Assistant

Pay: £500 – £560 per week

An exceptional primary school in the Formby area of Liverpool is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within an Ofsted-rated Outstanding school known for its high academic standards, supportive leadership team, and excellent behaviour across the school.
The successful candidate will be assigned to a single year group from Year 1 through to Year 6, depending on experience and personal preference, allowing you to build strong relationships with pupils and staff throughout the academic year.
The Role
- Supporting pupils within one designated year group
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Providing targeted support to pupils both individually and in small groups
- Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and academic progress
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working with children is desirable
- Passion for education and supporting young learners
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, proactive, and reliable approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must have the right to work in the UK
