Residential Conveyancing Solicitor / Fee Earner

Location: Liverpool, Warrington, Runcorn or Wigan with hybrid working

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE

A well-established and growing regional law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor / Fee Earner to join its busy and highly regarded Conveyancing team.

The Role

You will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion, maintaining high standards of client care and compliance throughout.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing residential conveyancing transactions from inception to completion
  • Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages and transfer of equity matters
  • Maintaining strong communication with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers and third parties
  • Managing files efficiently in line with deadlines, compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Providing clear and commercially pragmatic advice to clients throughout the transaction process
  • Resolving issues proactively and maintaining momentum on transactions
  • Maintaining accurate file management and compliance standards
  • Supporting assistants and junior colleagues where appropriate
  • Contributing to a collaborative and positive team environment
  • Identifying opportunities to improve internal processes and client experience

Candidate Requirements

The firm is open to applications from Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers and experienced Conveyancing Fee Earners.

You will be:

  • A qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or FCILEx
  • Experienced in residential conveyancing with the ability to manage matters independently
  • Technically strong across the full conveyancing process
  • Confident handling client relationships and third-party communications
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Calm and professional under pressure
  • Collaborative and team-oriented in your approach
  • Commercially aware with strong problem-solving skills
  • Committed to delivering a high standard of client care
