REQUIRMENTS: FLT Counterbalance Driver
LOCATION: Speke, Liverpool (L24)
SALARY: £13.44 per hour
HOURS: Monday to Friday / 08:00 - 16:00
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy and fast-paced distribution environment. This is a hands-on role requiring efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles
- Moving stock within the warehouse and yard areas
- Ensuring all loads are secure and handled correctly
- Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting any faults
- Assisting with general warehouse duties when required
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
Requirements:
- Valid and in-date RTITB or ITSSAR accredited Counterbalance licence (essential)
- Previous experience in a similar FLT role
- Ability to work both day and afternoon shifts on a rotating basis
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
