Your new companyWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Plumber to join our growing team working on a social housing maintenance contract in Widnes and surrounding areas.This role is focused on reactive maintenance and planned works, ensuring tenants' homes are safe, functional, and maintained to a high standard. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently in occupied properties and delivering excellent customer service.
Your new role
- Carry out reactive plumbing repairs in domestic social housing properties
- Diagnose and repair faults including:
- Leaks, blockages, and burst pipes
- Faulty taps, toilets, basins, and baths
- Radiator and heating-related issues
- Complete planned maintenance (PPM) and small installation works
- Install and replace sanitary ware, pipework, and fixtures
- Carry out minor multi-trade work including:
- Basic joinery (e.g. boxing-in, minor repairs)
- Tiling and patch repairs
- Silicone sealing and finishing
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
- Accurately record job details using handheld devices or paperwork
- Deliver excellent customer service when working in occupied homes
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a maintenance or domestic plumber
- Strong background in social housing or residential maintenance
- Experience in reactive repairs and fault finding
- Ability to carry out multi-trade tasks to a good standard
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent
- Full UK Driving Licence
