What the job involves
Your role involves participating in a structured 1 in 8-week rota for duty, where you will progress newly allocated cases up to the first hearing before transferring them on for proceedings. Outside of duty weeks, you will have 7 weeks focused on working directly with families. This involves completing thorough assessments, ensuring access to appropriate support and intervention, and effectively managing Children in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) cases. This role supports quality practice and enhances staff wellbeing by enabling you to concentrate on impactful work with families.
