Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding steel components with precision and efficiency, contributing to the production of high-quality products. Duties
- Perform MIG & ARC & TIG welding
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
Experience
- Proven experience with MIG welding, with a strong understanding of welding standards.
- Previous experience working with welding in industrial or manufacturing settings is essential
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately
- Full UK Driving Licence
Pay £16.50 per hour
Hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30 am -16.00pm Friday 7.30 am -15.00pm
Overtime Saturday and Sunday when necessary
