Job Description
A growing manufacturing business in Speke in Liverpool is looking to recruit a reliable and motivated Production Operative / FLT Driver to support day-to-day production and warehouse operations.
This is a hands-on role involving manufacturing activities, forklift operation, quality checks, raw material handling, and dispatch duties within a busy production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate production processes in line with schedules and work instructions
Prepare and weigh raw materials for production batches
Carry out quality control checks on products and materials
Safely operate Counterbalance FLT equipment
Load and unload vehicles, tankers, and raw materials
Pick and prepare customer orders for dispatch
Maintain accurate production and quality records
Support housekeeping and cleanliness standards across the site
Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
Candidate Requirements
Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
Previous proven FLT driving experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
Good communication skills
Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Reliable and safety-conscious approach to work
Ideally previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
Understanding of quality control procedures, although training can be provided
Working Hours
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Rotating weekly shifts:
6am 2:30pm AND 8am 4:30pm
(30-minute unpaid break)
Flexibility may be required to meet business needs.
