Job Responsibilities
- Patrol designated streets and public areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
- Collect litter and debris from streets, parks, and public spaces using appropriate equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or vandalism observed during patrols to the relevant departments.
- Engage positively with members of the public, providing assistance and information when required.
- Assist with special events or community initiatives aimed at improving the local environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing duties.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and incidents encountered during shifts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in outdoor maintenance, cleaning, or a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and stamina to carry out outdoor duties in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to outdoor work.
- Valid UK driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to community wellbeing and environmental standards.
