Description
- Lead and develop the group finance function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Oversee month-end close, consolidations, and performance analysis across entities
- Manage audit processes and act as the key contact for external auditors
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and statutory reporting requirements
- Drive improvements in financial controls, processes, and systems
- Partner with senior stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making
- Review sensitive accounting areas (e.g. payroll, bonuses, cash management)
- Support finance transformation and change projects across the business
Profile
- Fully qualified accountant (ideally ACA) with strong technical grounding across both management and statutory reporting
- Proven leader with experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced environment
- Confident operating in a hands-on, detail-focused role with ownership of key financial processes
- Comfortable in a PE-backed or high-growth business with evolving priorities and tight deadlines
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner senior leadership
- Experience in regulated environments (FCA or similar) would be advantageous
- Proactive, resilient, and able to bring structure to a sometimes complex or changing business
