Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management, including loading and unloading goods, stocking shelves, and maintaining an organised workspace. This position requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety.
Duties
- Safely to move products within the warehouse, handballing and unloading containers.
- Perform picking and packing of orders accurately for shipping.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Utilise a warehouse management system for tracking inventory and managing stock levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure operational efficiency.
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable, particularly in roles involving materials handling
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as AS400 is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail in stocking and inventory processes is essential.
