We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established roofing and construction business for an experienced and proactive Contracts Manager specialising in flat roofing systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware and operationally strong individual to manage projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring delivery is safe, efficient, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple flat roofing contracts from inception to completion Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget Oversee site teams, subcontractors, materials, and quality standards Monitor project progress, financial performance, and programme delivery Build and maintain strong client relationships Coordinate effectively with subcontractors and supply chain partners Promote a culture of health & safety, quality, and continuous improvement Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations Essential Experience & Skills Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within roofing or construction Extensive knowledge of flat roofing systems, including: Single ply Built-up felt Liquid systems EPDM GRP/Fibreglass Green roofing systems Strong commercial awareness and project management ability Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience managing multiple live projects and teams simultaneously Full UK driving licence SMSTS CSCS IOSH or NEBOSH Relevant roofing qualifications or accreditations Package Competitive salary DOE Company vehicle provided Long-term career opportunity within a growing business Supportive and professional working environment
