Senior Lecturer in Commercial Law (Teaching & Research)

Job Description

The Liverpool Law School seeks to appoint at least one Senior Lecturer (Teaching and Research) in Commercial Law.

This post is open to candidates with an established track record of research excellence (of at least international excellence in terms significance, originality and rigour) and exciting plans for developing their research profile into the future to a world leading level in terms of originality, significance and rigour. You will share our commitment to a positive student experience at the University of Liverpool, in particular, underpinned by a commitment to excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching through engaging and/or innovative teaching methods. You will also have a PhD and be willing to undertake research supervision at postgraduate level.

We would welcome applications by candidates with interests and expertise in any area of Commercial Law broadly defined, including corporate and financial/banking law, business law, international sales, commercial arbitration, commercial conflict of laws and corporate insolvency. We would further welcome applications from candidates with expertise in the relationship between Commercial Law and technology.
