Hospice band: Band 2 (Hourly rate £12.92)
Plus enhancements for weekend working
Location: Wirral-based
Contract: Bank with 3 month probation (zero hours contract)
Hours: as and when required

Wirral Hospice St John's provides FREE care for adult patients with life-limiting illnesses. We also support carers and loved ones; families are at the heart of everything we do.
Although some NHS funding is received, the majority of our income is donated by individuals, families, groups, companies and charitable trusts. Every penny counts and helps us to make a real difference to the specialist care and support we provide for our patients and their loved ones.
We are looking for a reliable and committed individual to join our Facilities/General Services team.
You will work under the supervision of the Facilities Team Leader and Support Services Manager, providing a support service across the Hospice site which will include Inpatient and Outpatient areas.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent team working and interpersonal skills, as well as being competent in general day to day building maintenance.
You will need to have excellent practical DIY skills, as well as being able to undertake any other reasonable tasks within the remit of “General Services”.
A qualification and/or a good awareness of Health and Safety Legislation would be preferred. You must have a current, clean driving licence.
The shift times are generally between 8am and 5pm, typically 8:30 to 4:30 on a rota basis which could include occasional weekends and bank holidays
