Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing building contractor at an exciting stage of its development. Working directly alongside the business owner, this is a unique opportunity to become a key part of the company’s long-term growth and play a hands-on role across both commercial and operational aspects of the business. Projects include luxury domestic homes as well as commercial developments including warehouses, offices, and hospitals. Roles and Responsibilities * Managing project costs from pre-construction through to final account * Preparing valuations, variations, and cost reports * Assisting with procurement and subcontractor management * Supporting the day-to-day running of projects alongside the business owner * Visiting sites regularly and assisting with operational requirements where needed * Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers Skills and Qualifications Required * Previous experience within a Quantity Surveying role * Experience within residential, commercial, or mixed-sector construction projects * Commercially aware with strong organisational skills * Hands-on attitude and willingness to support across multiple areas of the business * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Open to varying levels of experience for the right individual If you would like more information about this contract opportunity, please apply or send your CV, and we will be in touch with further details
